Prices and payouts
How prices move, when your payout locks, the fee, and the money set aside behind every payout.
Your payout locks when you're in#
Before you press, a game shows what a win pays you, with what you put in. The moment you're in, your payout is fixed, and nothing that happens after can change it: not the next pick, not the race, not anyone at Prophecy.
How prices move#
Each game prices from its own market. It opens even, and every pick moves the next price: the more that's backed on a ticker, the less a new pick on it pays, and the more a pick on the others does.
The games shows what a first pick into an even game pays in each. Later picks pay what the market says when they land.
If the price moves while you press#
Other picks can land while you press. If the price has moved against you by the time yours lands, nothing is taken, and you're shown the new price to take or leave.
The fee#
The fee is inside what you put in, never taken from a payout. Fees has every fee, and when it comes back.
The money behind every payout#
Before a game opens, the most its market could pay out beyond what's been put in is set aside. A game that can't be covered isn't opened at all, so a payout you're shown is always one that can be paid.
