Eligibility and integrity
What may be excluded from Genesis, the principles enforcement follows, and why the games are unaffected.
On this page
Genesis is designed for genuine users. Activity may be excluded from Genesis scoring if it is reasonably determined to be artificial, coordinated to manipulate allocation, or otherwise ineligible under the published rules.
Potential abuse includes:
- self-referrals
- Sybil account farms
- linked accounts manufacturing activity
- wash behavior
- circular fund movement
- collusive skill farming
- automated abuse
- manipulation of referral qualification
Principles#
Integrity enforcement should be consistent, purpose-limited, privacy-aware and reviewable. No single heuristic should automatically define a person as abusive.
Games still settle on their own#
Genesis eligibility is separate from a game's result. Where appropriate, a game is decided and paid normally while suspicious activity is excluded from Genesis scoring. That keeps the token's incentives from changing the games' own rules.
