Genesis close

When Genesis ends, what is published, and the challenge period before allocations are final.

On this page

Genesis does not run indefinitely. Before Genesis starts, Prophecy publishes a defined close date, or an objective close condition with a latest possible close date. At close:

  • new Genesis activity stops accruing
  • eligible activity still open is finalized
  • revenue is reconciled
  • integrity review completes
  • scores are finalized
  • allocations are calculated

Allocation publication#

Before Token Activation, Prophecy publishes:

  • the final Genesis methodology
  • the final user allocations
  • category totals
  • unused Genesis Allocation
  • aggregate exclusions, where appropriate
  • an allocation root and the data to verify it

Challenge period#

A challenge period follows. Users can report objective issues, such as missing eligible activity, incorrect referral attribution, or an incorrect qualification state. After the challenge period and any corrections, the Genesis Allocation becomes final.
